Your new PowerChord website is now live on the internet. Though this is a turnkey website; at the very minimum you must login to your dealer administration area and set your tax rate for your store if applicable. We recommend that when you login please familiarize yourself with the dealer administration layout, features and functionality. From your dealer administration area you can also customize and make changes to your website if you wish.

How to login to your Dealer Administration Area:

  1. From www.capelrugs.com, click "Dealer Website" at the very bottom of the page.
  2. Select the 'Dealer Login' link listed on the right hand side of the page.
  3. You should now be in the Dealer Login section of the PowerChord Dealer Administration. Log in to your dealer administration area with your user name and password:
    • Your username is: your Capel account number and your password is: the password that was previously sent to you in the welcome e-mail. (It is strongly recommended you change your password as outlined by step #2 in the Set-Up Wizard).

How to set your tax rate:

  1. Login to your dealer administration area.
  2. Click on the 'Tax Rates' tab located at the top of the page.
  3. Select the 'Set Tax Rates' bullet.
  4. Type the tax rate in the format shown.

How to process an order:

You will be notified of orders through your website via e-mail. Upon receipt of the e-mail please login to your dealer administration area:

  1. In the bright green box on the homepage of your administration area click on the 'View Open Customer Orders' button.
  2. Click the 'Show Details' link to see order detail and credit card information for processing.
     You will have 2 different options to process orders:
    1. If you have the items in stock and will be shipping to the customer, click "I have shipped" after the credit card has been processed and the items have been shipped.
    2. If you do not have the items in stock and would like for Capel to fill the order, click "Send to Capel to Fulfill" after the credit card has been approved. Click "Capel has Shipped" after you have received the shipment notification e-mail and the credit card has been processed. Credit card information will be stored for an additional 30 days after the order has been flagged shipped.

How to customize your website:

Each time you login to your dealer administration area you will see a 'Set-Up Wizard' located in the left center of the page in the brown box. The Set-Up Wizard was designed to assist you in customizing your website. Simply select the "Click to Turn On Setup Wizard" button to begin the customization process. Read through each step of the wizard carefully, and when you are done with a step click the "Next" arrow.

You can click the "View Store" button at the top right in the Administration Area at any time throughout the wizard to view your PowerChord website and the changes you have made. You can return to the Dealer administration area by closing out of your website.

Your store website address:

Your store address is: www.capeldealers.com/default-dealer-(username from above).aspx. Type your store address directly into the address bar of an Internet browser to go directly to your PowerChord website Homepage.

Note: For dealers who also have a Retail Website, the link on your retail site to your PowerChord website should point to www.capeldealers.com/?dealer=id# (your Capel account number).
